What a game, what a game! Because amazing happens. Polisen topped Stockholm's rivals SKK in a very difficult and tough game. The neighbour team set out a strategy that got "the cops" into trouble for great part of the match. But the spirit and faith arose in Eriksdalsbadet yesterday and, spurred by the local supporters, came back in the score in the last minutes and took home the first points of the season 2014-2015. Season's debut for the new signed players Mark Conrad (USA), Oliver Cosani (Italy), Kim Hansson (Sweden) and Vedran Prezloznik (Croatia). Both teams joined and showed support for Movember that fights against mens diseases. A minute of silence took place to honour the memory of former Polisen player Berra Svensson.

"This is a derby. And in any derby there are no favourites; anything can happen". And so it was yesterday. The game started with a SKK very aggressive, especially from the center position, which is their most used visit card in attack. This way in the first attack the rival got a penalty from there. Mehdi saved it, but the rebound came back to the shooter Guga that could score. 0-1. The local reaction came, and 2 goals from Kim Hansson and Johan Lundén made Polisen take the lead 2-1. However, SKK replied and the last attacks materialized in goals, finnishing the 1st quarter 2-4. In the second period, SKK kept their good rythm and increased the difference in the score 2-5 thanks again to their most dangerous player yesterday, Guga. Polisen tried hard in attack and a man-up finished by Pierdomenico Polito reduced the distance before the half break of the game (3-5).

The local reaction from Polisen was expected in the beginning of the 3rd quarter. However, it came from the other side and SKK managed to lead the score by a four goal difference another shot of Guga and a good center finnish by Vasic, former Polisen player (3-7). Polisen transformed a penalty thrown by Vicente Tirado and used a counterattack executed by Hasse Öberg to reduce, but Alexander Njers replied fastly with an accurate shot (5-8). Difficult task for Polisen. But the reaction was about to come. More intense and dynamic attack attempts made the team get close to 1 goal to rivals SKK at the end of the 3rd quarter thanks to the goals of Oskar Thiel and new american signed player Mark Conrad (7-8).

The last quarter presented exciting with all supporters cheering their respective teams. The local team Polisen had already started rolling and did not let SKK react. The goals coming from Richard Ericson (2) and Johan Lunden made "the cops" finally come back in the score with 10-8. But the game was not over at all, an exchange of goals took place over the last minutes. SKK fought back 10-9 through Vasic, but Kim Hansson executed a man-up situation with a nice bounce shot (11-9). The rivals did not lose the face in the game and a long distance shot by Daniel Cederquist made it 11-10. Less than 2 minutes left, which resulted in an uncontrolled game for both teams, with many mistakes coming from unnaccuracies in the passes and shots. Polisen scored from a penalty shot executed by Maxime Gazzo in the last minute (11-9) but again Daniel Cederquist replied back rapidly (12-11). The last seconds were full of imprecissions with none of the teams able to control the possession, which eventually consumed up the time, deciding the match for the local Polisen.

Though it was a great game, many aspects of the game need to be improved. This will come with hard trainings.
